Invest in your company's success with our consultative approach to employee benefits design and compliance
At Kinney Law and Compliance, our mission is to provide comprehensive and cost-effective employee benefits solutions to private and public sector organizations via our unique hybrid legal and compliance departments.
We provide legal and compliance-based consulting to employers, health plans, government organizations, TPAs and other vendors of health benefit solutions based out of our Minneapolis & New York City offices with a nationwide clientele.
KLC's experienced legal and compliance professionals have many years of experience and a deep understanding of the employee benefits industry and regulatory structure.
Our clients include HSA custodians, third party administrators, health insurance companies, and entrepreneurs of all stripes in the employee benefits industry. Over the years, we've developed the legal arguments for new products, including health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs), that benefit millions of Americans today.
We also represent cities, counties, school districts, and other public employers on matters involving health and welfare benefits under state law. We help TPAs and other vendors navigate state laws and benefit mandates for public employers in the absence of ERISA preemption.
We've drafted and negotiated just about every type of contract in the health and welfare benefit industry, from stop loss retrocession agreements to HIPAA BAAs. And we help our clients navigate and comply with new laws and regulations as they pass (i.e., HITECH, ACA, MHPAEA, Cures Act, CAA and the HIPAA Wellness Rule).
